"During 2005 my partner and I made the decision to purchase a property abroad, after considerable deliberation we decided upon turkey as the country in which we would look, this decision was influenced by the excellent climate, magnificent scenery, great cultural history, extremely friendly people and the competitive price of property.In October 2005 we travelled to Turkey and Altinkum (Didim) in particular, this area despite considerable development in recent years remains unspoilt and shows no signs of overdevelopment as other major resorts in Turkey do. 

We looked at scores of properties and spoke with many estate agents and developers when a decision had to be made we had not the slightest hesitation in buying a property  developed by Sun Home Seekers (now Ali-Mar Properties), the quality of the workmanship of their own properties far outweighed others we viewed.During the purchase procedure Mr Ercan Ciftci proved to be extremely kind, considerate and helpful and at no time were we put under any pressure to buy, indeed he went out of his way to assist us in any way that he could and made the whole purchase procedure extremely easy and straightforward.  Once the process was completed Mr Ciftci continued to be of great assistance to us; taking us to our own choice of furniture stores and assisting us with the purchasing procedure and chasing up the stores on our behalf when delivery problems arose.

We returned to Turkey during April 2006, on arrival at our apartment we found that all the extras to the apartment we had requested had been finished in time and to the usual very high standard, the apartment had also been cleaned from top to bottom.  During our stay Mr Ciftci or Ercan (as he is now classed as a good friend), continued to show great hospitality and kindness not only to us but other clients of his who had purchased properties from his company; often calling to see if we needed any assistance.

Should you be considering purchasing a property in Turkey and Altinkum in particular I have not the slightest hesitation in highly recommending to you Sun Home Seekers as you first point of call I'm very sure that Ercan and his staff will provide you with a highly professional and friendly service throughout the process of choosing / viewing / purchasing a property and offer an after sales service second to none."

We went on holiday in June 2005 and came home with a  deposit on a 3 bedroom luxury apartment , and are really pleased with our purchase.  On the second day of our holiday, at our own request  we were introduced to Ercan and Mehmet Çiftçi, who are the builders and estate agent at Sun Home Seekers (now Ali-Mar Properties). We were treated with the utmost respect and care while we viewed and made our decision to purchase. At no time did we ever feel pressured in to anything, in fact the reverse is true. Ercan insisted on having time to ourselves to make our own minds up. We were helped and advised through every stage of the purchase by Ercan.  

We were and are still delighted with our apartment, it has everything we want.  Our after care service has been equally as good as our first experience. We went back to stay in our apartment in May 2006 for the second time and Ercan E-mailed me to make sure we had our transfer arranged and also arranged for our apartment to be aired and cleaned ready for our arrival.  I cannot recommend Sun Home Seekers/Ali-Mar Properties highly enough if you are looking to purchase in Turkey. You will treated with care at all times by both Ercan and Mehmet.   Regards

Comments:-

  •  We had great service both prior to our arrival in Altinkum with emails showing pictures of properties within our price range and specifications

     Then after our arrival personal service with transport to view the properties and all our questions answered honestly and efficiently

  • There was no pressure or urgency to complete a sale (we had bad experience with other major companies giving heavy sales pitch)

  • Any problems or snaggs were dealt with the same day! :-)  Any extra work requests were dealt with while we were in the UK causing us no distruption while it was done

  • Furnishings and curtains were handled effeciently and were in situ within 3 days of purchasing them, fully installed and assembled including hand made curtains

  • Legalities were explained to us in English and an interpretor present at all legal meetings with the solicitor and when receiving the Tapu (deed) to the property

  • The property is maintained and kept in good clean condition during our absence at a small maintainance charge
